Family Care Services
All of our workers are required to attend a 16 hour DSW training course before they can be assigned to a client. This two day - 8
hour training covers client care, policies and procedures, safety, emergency preparedness, HIPAA, proper documentation, and state
regulations. In our West Monroe office this class is taught by our DSW trainer, Debbie Ford.
Workers are also required to be certified in First Aid and CPR. Mandi Maza is our CPR instructor in the West Monroe office. She is certified by the American Heart Association to teach the HeartSaver First Aid course which includes First Aid, Adult and Child CPR, as well as AED training.
